The work showcased in Earth Muffin Studio is inspired by Mother Earth's beauty and makes conscious efforts to recycle materials. Shawn Hart, featured artist of Earth Muffin Studio, showcases original paintings on canvas (oil or acrylic) and handmade items using recycled materials. 

 

Biography

Shawn Hart grew up in Lake Mary, FL. At age 17, she began furthering her education in visual arts at Seminole State College, exhibiting in campus galleries. She later studied visual arts at the University of Central Florida during her undergrad degree and continued her traditional education, earning a Masters of Business Administration. Shawn now lives in Roxboro, NC with her whippets (dogs).

Shawn was a studio tenant at Artspace in the heart of Downtown Raleigh for more than six years and now works from her home studio in Raleigh. Some of her work is displayed at a local dog boutique and spa, called Woofinwaggle in North Raleigh. She travels around the country showcasing her art at both art and dog shows.
