This piece was inspired by a friend's North Carolina Kayak Adventure. I really loved how the deep blues in the water create texture and depth to counter-act the soft greens in the background. Ready for a kayak trip? Why create this piece?
There is a small area in the painting that injured and gingerly patched back together. I decided to create this piece around this little flaw, because I thought this canvas deserved a chance for something beautiful, rather than ending up in the landfill. The small flaw resides in the water's edge to remain out of notice. A viewer would only be able to tell typically, if you turn the canvas around and look at the back, but who does that when it's hung on the wall? ;) Enjoy the discount price for an original painting this size and give this canvas a chance!
